Advertising / disclosure
The answer is not for sale.
Advertising is currently disabled. The site is built to support limited, clearly labeled ads or sponsorships later without letting them touch the daily answer.
Current status
No advertising provider, paid placement, affiliate link, or sponsor is active. The public ads.txt file says so until an authorized seller is configured.
Permanent line in the marble
The question, YES/NO answer, source selection, corrections, and editorial ordering will not be sold. Ads will never cover or interrupt the answer.
Future placements
If enabled, placements may appear below editorial context, around the archive or Almost desk, or as a direct sponsor card. Every paid placement will be labeled.
Privacy and consent
Direct sponsorship and privacy-preserving contextual placements are the preferred models. Behavioral advertising, cross-site tracking, and any provider that requires the site operator’s personal identity to be published are not eligible.
Changes are public
This page, the privacy notice, and ads.txt will be updated before advertising is switched on. Advertising status is also exposed by the site’s public status response. Approval by an ad platform never overrides these boundaries.
