What this site does not collect

Infrastructure records
Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, security, DNS, database, and email-routing services. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare may process request information such as an IP address, date and time, requested URL, user agent, referring page, routing data, network-error reports, and security signals. Cloudflare describes this processing in its privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
The application does not set cookies or use local storage. Cloudflare may issue a strictly necessary security or challenge cookie when needed to distinguish legitimate traffic or preserve proof that a security challenge was passed. These cookies are not used by this site for advertising or audience analytics. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.
If you choose to email the corrections address, the email address, routing metadata, subject, message, and attachments you provide are processed by our email-routing and mailbox providers. Do not send sensitive personal information. Messages may not receive a reply.
Why limited data is processed
Where data-protection law applies, necessary request and correspondence data is processed for the legitimate interests of delivering and securing the site, preventing abuse, diagnosing failures, handling correction or privacy requests, maintaining an accurate editorial record, and establishing or defending legal claims. We do not use consent as a pretext for unrelated processing.
Who receives it
Limited information may be processed by Cloudflare and the providers that route and receive the corrections mailbox. It may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the site or others, investigate abuse, or exercise legal rights. It is not sold to data brokers or advertising networks.
Retention
The application keeps no visitor profile or analytics history. Infrastructure and security records follow the service provider’s retention settings and are kept only for operational, security, and legal needs. Email is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to investigate, document, or defend the issue described in the message, then removed from active records; residual provider backups may expire on a separate schedule.
International processing
The site’s providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they maintain infrastructure. Where a transfer mechanism is legally required, we rely on the safeguards described in the relevant provider’s contractual and privacy documentation.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask whether personal information is held about you and to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Because the site does not create visitor accounts or profiles, we may hold nothing that can be connected to an ordinary visit. We may request enough information to locate and safely respond to a record. You may also complain to the privacy regulator where you live.
Children
This general-audience satire site is not directed to children and does not knowingly solicit personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the corrections address, ask us to delete it.

Source links lead to independent news outlets with their own privacy practices. We do not control the cookies, subscriptions, or tracking used after you leave this site.
Advertising boundary
No ad network is active. We will not activate behavioral advertising or a provider that requires the site operator’s personal identity to be published. Any future sponsor or contextual-ad arrangement must preserve this boundary, and this notice and the advertising disclosure will be updated before it goes live.

Email the address below with “Privacy” in the subject. This is the contact point for the independently operated site. It is not a tip line, and requests will be handled subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification.
